Verse 1

Get a job they say
Well I got one but it don’t pay
Tried to get qualified
Found out that the whole thing was a lie
Don’t know what to believe
Too many things to achieve
Still we’re damned if we do or don’t
All these paths they lead into nothingness
I know that I can but I won’t

Chorus A

I’m part of the
lost generation
I no longer believe
or trust in the nation
Lost all sense of creed
and colour by abstention
Lost all faith and vision
In education
I woke up to be lost
In globalisation

Verse 2

Dabbled in politics, till
I realised their job was to lie
Tried with the socialists
But found theyre too stuck on their in-fights
Went to live in the trees
Grow a community
All the forces against us
We’re forced to plug in to metropolese
Addicted to boom and bust

Chorus B

We’re part of the
lost generation
We no longer believe or trust
in the concept of nations
Lost all sense of creed
and colour by abstention
We’ve Lost all faith and vision
In education
We woke up to be
Lost in globalisation

Rap

I was lost now found, in the power of now,
We take to the streets cuz they’re the heartbeat of our voice
Be it in numbers or conviction
We had no choice in this humanphobic system,
So tell me is it up to the powers that be to listen?
Or do we just turn righteous indignation into resistance?
Through direct action, reaction to our corporatized fate
Go on report this local anarchist to the arm of state?

Its assembled in the streets we convene to create
New ways a new phase through which to interrelate
In an un-forseen future that’s ours to define
Move on from century-old crimes,
Cuz no lines flow straight from the past
But careful now dont go to tractor from plough too fast
If you want this social change to last
As old words like revolution or reform
Get lost in the antecuated dogma and norms
Its OCCUPY FIRST! Demands develop second
Cuz every second gone is one step closer to fascism

Its one more Life on the line, another mountain to climb
As they prepare the biggest psyops in the hstory of time
To assimilate our spirit to protest and contest
So let’s put ourselves to the test by being
Individual in our freedom but social in our power
Time to burn down all the ivory towers
To pluralise both agency and responsibility,
The two go hand in hand,
As we wake up to reclaim our ravaged land
The hangover, we struggle to understand
How we’ve allowed ourselves, not an evil man
By not speaking out, doubtful or damned
To poison the rivers with cheap seductive drugs
Be ruled by fear of lurking thugs
Forget the power of human touch
Get lost in money games no trust

Verse 3

But do not dispair my child
Tell me what you cryin for?
We’ll find an antidote
Formulate a cure,
So long as our intention
To live and love stays pure
There’s nothing can stop us
Its time for insurrection
Let’s forge a common purpose

Chorus C

WERE PART OF THE LOST
we’re part the lost generation
GENERATION
where we’re doubting the wisdom in social norms and convention
WE NO LONGER BELIEVE
products of endless world wars and more to come
OR TRUST IN THE NATION
beginning to doubt if border games can be won
LOST ALL SENSE OF CREED
We will not be boxed or defined
AND COLOUR BY ABSTENTION
as we pave the way toward a rainbow mind
LOST ALL FAITH
so long as you confine and indoctrinate
AND VISION IN EDUCATION
with ancient values you’ll only breed more hate
WE WOKE UP TO BE LOST
those lost must trailblaze a way
must define a new dawn and break o
new day
