What on earth does the ‘third world’ mean?
Is it the way they walk or how they drink their tea?
Is it the way they talk of ideology?
Or did you think that was a capitalist luxury?
Is is because their government’s as corrupt as ours?
Just a little younger with less superpowers,
Is it about a false sense of democracy?
Cuz if so then the UK is 3rd world to me,
Is it a diminished sense of imperialism you see
Cuz they haven’t the means to invade overseas?
Rather work together for a common goal,
Make common currencies to peddle their coal,
Is is the amount of oil or material wealth?
How they tie their tie or how they buckle their belt?
Is it the shit they spew into the atmosphere?
Or the number of coke bottles recycled each year?
Is is how they laugh? Or shed a tear?
Cuz last time I checked we’re all humans here,
and If there’s one thing I know is that people fear
What they don’t know, so that’s why I’m standing here

Singin’

[CHORUS:]
3rd world is where they’re born to lose
2nd world is now history
Now, which world would you rather choose
If the first world kills solidarity

3rd world don’t need your nikey shoes
2nd world is now history
Now, which world would you rather choose
If the first world is ruled by the TV

3rd world, they got the work-for-nothing blues
2nd world is now history
Now, which world would you rather choose
If the first world eats your humanity

3rd world theyre searching for a truce
2nd world is now history
Now, which world would you rather choose
If the first world is run by money
[END CHORUS]

Its conditional aid that imposes conditions like
Cultural invasion, bring to to submission the
Community ways, history and tradition of a
bygone age, and who get’s paid?
An aristocracy of anonymity,
Lying on miami beaches while these leeches reap
The benefits of dependency
Upon some BC ideology,
Their brothers’ pains and working for no wage
Sustains their material gain
That’s why as long as these robots hold the reigns
Nothing will have changed as I return to the refrain
No fun and games, singin’

[CHORUS]

Imagine being born and before you open your eyes
before you even breathe you already owe you life
to Barack Obama’s governments economic ties
To make sure you work till the age of 99,
You haven’t said a word but you’re already doing time
To pay of the debt of a slaughtered picket line
of people you never got the chance to see eye to eye
but you know how hard they tried, and it’s considered fine
by our society, its modern slavery,
and it’s going on as we speak in Haiti,
the first latin country to independicise,
and now for all its suffering its got the world’s eyes
on overdrive, and when they rebuild the hive
giving jobs to foreign builders making others thrive,
they’ll design the high-rise as a special sign
a McDonald’s logo as seen from a satellite.

[CHORUS]
